Sasha Pieterse

Sasha Pieterse-Sheaffer (born February 17, 1996) is a South African-born American actress, singer, and songwriter. She is best known for her role as Alison DiLaurentis in the Freeform series Pretty Little Liars and its spin-off Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. Pieterse also appeared as Amy Loubalu in the 2011 Disney Channel film Geek Charming and starred in the teen comedy film G.B.F. in 2013. In 2017, she participated in the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars, finishing in 10th place. Pieterse was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved to the United States in 2001. She was homeschooled and graduated at the age of 14.
