Scott Adsit is an American actor, comedian, and writer, born on November 26, 1965. Raised in the Chicago suburbs, Adsit joined the mainstage cast of Chicago's The Second City in 1994. He gained recognition for his role as Pete Hornberger, the producer, on the NBC sitcom 30 Rock, which won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Adsit co-directed, co-wrote, and co-produced the Adult Swim stop-motion animation program Moral Orel, receiving an Annie Award nomination for his voice work. He also worked on the stop-motion animation series Mary Shelley's Frankenhole. Adsit's talent and comedic skills have made him a respected figure in the entertainment industry.
