Scott Conant

Scott Conant (born February 19, 1971) is an American celebrity chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. He is best known for his role as a judge on the reality cooking television series Chopped, which he has been a part of since 2009. Conant was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, and began cooking at a young age, taking classes at the local community college at just 11 years old. He later attended the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), where he interned at the renowned New York City restaurant San Domenico. After graduation, Conant honed his skills in Munich, Germany, before returning to the United States to work at San Domenico as a sous chef. He has since gone on to publish four cookbooks and establish himself as a prominent figure in the culinary industry.
