Scott Hoying

Scott Richard Hoying (born September 17, 1991) is an American singer, musician, and songwriter. He gained international recognition as the baritone of the a cappella group Pentatonix and as one-half of the music duo Superfruit. Pentatonix has released eleven albums, two of which reached number one on the charts, and two EPs. They have achieved mainstream success by having four songs in the Billboard Hot 100 and winning three Grammy Awards. Superfruit's YouTube channel boasts over 2.4 million subscribers and 444 million views. Born in Arlington, Texas, Hoying co-founded Pentatonix with Mitch Grassi and met Kirstin Maldonado while attending Martin High School.
