    Scott Leibfried is an American chef and culinary consultant, born on March 9, 1971, in New York City. He is best known for his appearances as a host and participant on cooking-related competition programs like Hell's Kitchen and the Food Network Challenge. Leibfried graduated from Johnson & Wales University and began his culinary career in the US Northeast and Europe. In 1997, he moved to the West Coast to work as a chef at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. He later became the executive chef at the Napa Valley Grille in Los Angeles and worked at various restaurants in London under the guidance of Gordon Ramsay. In 2006, Leibfried became the executive chef at Soleil @K in San Diego. He later served as the corporate chef at Fleetwood's restaurant in Maui.
