Scott McClain
Scott Michael McClain (born May 19, 1972) is a former Major League Baseball third baseman and currently works as a scout in Nippon Professional Baseball. He played football in high school and signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the University of Southern California before being drafted by the Baltimore Orioles. McClain had a successful senior year in baseball, achieving a batting average of .464 and winning 10 out of his 11 pitching appearances. Throughout his professional career, he played for various minor league teams affiliated with different MLB organizations. In 1998, McClain played nine games with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays as a major leaguer.
