Scott Shaw (born September 23, 1958) is an American author, martial artist, and filmmaker. He is known for his advanced martial arts skills and has written numerous articles and books on the subject, as well as on Zen Buddhism and eastern philosophy. Shaw is an active actor and filmmaker, having collaborated with American filmmaker Donald G. Jackson to create a unique filmmaking style known as 'Zen Filmmaking,' where no screenplay or scripts are used in the creation of a movie. He has authored several books, including 'About Peace,' 'Advanced Taekwondo,' and 'Bangkok: Beyond the Buddha.' Shaw's work explores various themes and often delves into photographic exploration of different cultures and places.
