Scott Van Pelt Biography
Scott Van Pelt (born 1967) is an American sportscaster and sports talk show host. He gained prominence as the co-anchor of the 11 p.m. edition of SportsCenter on ESPN and co-hosted SVP & Russillo on ESPN Radio alongside Ryen Russillo. Van Pelt also hosted various golf events for the network. In 2015, he transitioned to become the solo anchor for a midnight edition of SportsCenter and later took over as the host of Monday Night Countdown for the 2023 NFL season. Van Pelt started his career in sportscasting at WTTG-TV, a FOX affiliate in Washington, D.C., and later worked for the Golf Channel. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988 with a degree in radio/television and film.
