Sean Biggerstaff Biography
Sean Biggerstaff (born March 15, 1983) is a Scottish actor best known for his role as Oliver Wood in the Harry Potter film series. He appeared in the films 'Philosopher's Stone' (2001), 'Chamber of Secrets' (2002), and 'Deathly Hallows – Part 2' (2011). Biggerstaff began acting at a young age and made his screen debut in the TV miniseries 'The Crow Road' (1996). He won a BAFTA Scotland Award for his performance in the TV film 'Consenting Adults' (2007) and has also appeared in the films 'Cashback' (2006) and 'Mary Queen of Scots' (2013). Biggerstaff was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, and started acting at the age of five. He attended Parkview Primary School and was a member of the Maryhill Youth Theatre.
