Sean Bridgers Biography
Sean MacKenzie Bridgers (born March 15, 1968) is an American actor, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his role as Johnny Burns on the HBO series Deadwood and as Trey Willis on the SundanceTV original series Rectify. Bridgers has appeared in numerous television and film projects since 1991. He gained critical acclaim and awards for the independent film Paradise Falls, which he also wrote and produced. Bridgers received praise for his lead role in Lucky McKee's horror film The Woman and another Modernciné film, Jug Face. He has also had notable roles in Sweet Home Alabama and Nell. In the 2015 film Room, he portrayed the character Old Nick. Bridgers was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and graduated from St. Andrew's-Sewanee School and Western Carolina University.
