Sean Taro Ono Lennon is an American-British musician, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Born on October 9, 1975, in Manhattan, New York City, he is the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and the half-brother of Julian Lennon. Sean has been a member of various bands throughout his career, including Cibo Matto, The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, and Plastic Ono Band. He has also released two solo albums: Into the Sun (1998) and Friendly Fire (2006). Additionally, Sean Lennon has produced albums for several artists, including Black Lips and the Plastic Ono Band. He comes from a diverse heritage, with Japanese ancestry from his mother's side and English, Welsh, and Irish descent from his father's side.
