Sebastian Arcelus

Sebastian Arcelus (born November 5, 1976) is an American actor known for his roles in House of Cards (2013–2016) and Madam Secretary (2014–2019). He started his career on Broadway, starring in Rent, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Elf, and other shows. In 2022, he returned to Broadway with the revival of Into the Woods, followed by a national tour. Arcelus, a first-generation American of Uruguayan, Italian, and Russian descent, grew up in Port Washington, New York. He is fluent in Spanish and holds a degree from Williams College. Apart from theater, he has appeared in various TV shows and movies throughout his career.
