Seeta Indrani

Seeta Indrani (born April 20, 1963) is an English dancer and actress. She started her career as a dancer after graduating from the London Contemporary Dance School. Indrani gained recognition for her role as Cassandra in the original 1981 West End production of Cats. She has worked extensively in the theatre, including performances at the Royal National Theatre, The Royal Exchange, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. From 1989 to 1998, Indrani portrayed WPC Norika Datta in the popular ITV drama The Bill. She received accolades for her performance, including being voted Best Supporting Actress by the Asian Film Academy in 1995 and Best Actress in 1996. Indrani has also appeared in various stage productions after leaving The Bill.
