Sergio Peris-Mencheta

Sergio Peris-Mencheta, born Luis Sergio Peris-Mencheta Barrio on April 7, 1975, in Madrid, Spain, is a renowned theatre, cinema, and television actor, as well as a theatre director. Raised by a Spanish father and a mother of Spanish exiles from Moscow, Peris-Mencheta initially pursued a career in rugby and excelled as a player. However, his passion for acting led him to join the university theater group directed by Inés París. In 1998, he gained popularity for his role as Dani Daroca in the teen drama television series Al salir de clase. Peris-Mencheta made his feature film debut in Jara (1999), starring alongside Olivia Molina.
