Shalim Ortiz
Shalim Ortiz (born February 26, 1979) is a Puerto Rican actor and singer. He is the son of Dominican singer, actress, and host Charytín Goyco and Puerto Rican actor and comedian Elín Ortiz. In 2007, Ortiz starred as Miguel in the romantic web series 'Engaged' and portrayed Alejandro Herrera on 'Heroes'. He guest-starred in an episode of 'Cory in the House' as Bahavian singer Nanoosh and appeared in the Hallmark Channel movie 'Expecting a Miracle'. Ortiz has also guest-starred in mainstream series such as 'Cold Case' and 'CSI: Miami'. He was part of the miniseries 'Maneater' for Lifetime as Pablo. Ortiz married Leslie Ann Machado in 2008 and they have three children together. He began dating actress Thanya López in 2018.
