Shamari DeVoe (Fears; born February 22, 1980) is an American singer and actress. She gained prominence as the lead singer of the pop/R&B girl group Blaque, known for their hit songs in the early 2000s. DeVoe showcased her acting skills in the comedy film Bring It On (2000), where she portrayed the character Lava. Additionally, she appeared as a cast member on the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta during its eleventh season. DeVoe also starred alongside her husband, R&B singer Ronnie DeVoe, in the VH1 series Couples Retreat (2022–2023). Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Georgia State University.
