Shameik Alti Moore is an American actor, singer, and rapper. Born on May 4, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia, Moore made his lead acting debut in the 2015 film Dope, gaining recognition for his portrayal of Malcolm. He is best known for his voice role as Miles Morales/Spider-Man in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its sequels. Moore attended Druid Hills High School and comes from a Jamaican family. Prior to his breakthrough, he appeared in shows and films like Tyler Perry's House of Payne, Reed Between the Lines, and Joyful Noise. Moore also had a main role on the sketch-comedy series Incredible Crew and is one of the five male leads in the Netflix series The Get Down.
