Shana Dowdeswell

Shana Elizabeth Dowdeswell (1 April 1989 – 12 December 2012) was a Hollywood actress of Zimbabwean descent. Born on 1 April 1989 in Harare, Zimbabwe, Dowdeswell moved to New York City, United States, where she attended City and Country School, PS 3, and PPAS High School. She started her acting career at the age of eight and gained recognition for her portrayal of Anne Frank in a production at the Paper Mill Playhouse. Dowdeswell had a longtime relationship with her boyfriend Cameron Moneo and one younger brother named Jesse. She tragically passed away on 12 December 2012 after being found unconscious outside a bar in Greenwich Village, New York City.
