Shannon Tweed

Shannon Tweed Simmons (born March 10, 1957) is a Canadian actress and model known for her success in mainstream erotica. She has appeared in over 60 films and various television series, becoming a prominent figure in the genre of erotic thriller cinema. In 1982, Tweed was named Playboy's Playmate of the Year. She gained further recognition through her reality TV show, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, which depicted her family life from 2006 to 2012. Tweed is married to Gene Simmons, the bassist and co-lead singer of the band Kiss, and they have two children. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Tweed was raised on a mink ranch in Whitbourne and comes from a family of seven children.
