Shannyn Sossamon, born Shannon Marie Kahololani Sossamon on October 3, 1978, is an American actress known for her roles in various films. She has appeared in movies such as A Knight's Tale (2001), 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), The Rules of Attraction (2002), The Order (2003), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005), The Holiday (2006), Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006), Road to Nowhere (2009), The End of Love (2012), and Sinister 2 (2015). In addition to her acting career, Sossamon was a member of the band Warpaint from 2004 to 2008, contributing vocals and drums. She later ventured into directing and producing through her production company, the Maudegone Theater. Sossamon was born in Hawaii and raised in Reno, Nevada, with a diverse ancestry including Dutch, English, French, German, Irish, Filipino, and Hawaiian.
