Sharib Hashmi Biography
Sharib Hashmi is an Indian actor, writer, producer, and director known for his work in Hindi cinema. Born on January 25, 1976, in Malad, Mumbai, he comes from a middle-class family. His father, Z. A. Johar, was a renowned film journalist. Sharib attended St. John's Model English High School and graduated from Bhavan's College in Mumbai. He gained recognition for his portrayal of J.K. Talpade in the Amazon Prime Video series The Family Man (2019-2021), earning him multiple awards, including a Filmfare OTT Award. Sharib also had a supporting role in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire (2008) and appeared in films like Filmistaan (2012) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. He is married to Nasreen Hashmi and has two children.
