Sharna Burgess

Sharna May Burgess is an Australian ballroom dancer best known for her appearances on the ABC series Dancing with the Stars. Born on June 21, 1985, in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia, Burgess began training in ballet, jazz, and gymnastics at the age of five. She later focused on ballroom dancing and achieved success, winning numerous local and national titles. Burgess represented Australia in the World Championships for both Standard and Latin styles at the age of 15. She gained further recognition as a professional partner and troupe member on Dancing with the Stars, winning season 27 with her celebrity partner Bobby Bones. In addition to her on-screen work, Burgess has also been a judge on the Australian version of the show since 2019.
