Sharon Blynn

Sharon Blynn is an American actress and cancer activist. She is known for her role as Soren, a Skrull, in the 2019 superhero films Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Blynn founded the 'Bald is Beautiful' organization in 2002 to raise awareness for ovarian cancer and empower women to define their beauty on their own terms. Born and raised in Miami, she moved to New York City to attend Barnard College/Columbia University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Ethnomusicology. Before pursuing acting, Blynn worked as a marketing executive for Verve Records. Diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2000, she has been in remission since 2003.
