Sharon Taylor

Sharon Taylor is a Canadian actress, born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 5, 1981. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre from Simon Fraser University. With a background in theatre, Taylor transitioned to television and film. Known for her martial arts skills, she has over 15 years of experience and holds a second-degree black belt in karate and kickboxing. Her expertise led the producers of Stargate: Atlantis to incorporate her skills into her character's actions in the episode 'The Prodigal'. In addition to kickboxing, Taylor is also trained in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.
