Shavaughn Ruakere

Shavaughn Ruakere is a New Zealand actress and television presenter, born on March 3, 1978. She gained popularity as a presenter on the children's TV show What Now and later went on to play the role of Roimata Ngatai on the prime-time soap opera Shortland Street. Ruakere began her career as a presenter for popular children's television shows in New Zealand in the late nineties, including What Now and ITV's SMTV Live. She also had minor roles in films such as River Queen (2005) and Sione's Wedding (2006). In 2018, Ruakere participated as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. She is known for her versatility and talent in both presenting and acting.
