Shawn Roberts is a Canadian actor born on April 2, 1984, in Stratford, Ontario. He gained recognition for his roles in various zombie films, including Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead, and the Resident Evil franchise. Roberts started his acting career after being noticed by award-winning screenwriter Robert Forsythe during a school play. He made his television debut in Emily of New Moon and later appeared in Goosebumps as Brian O'Connor. Roberts also played Dean Walton in the Canadian series Degrassi: The Next Generation and starred alongside Anna Paquin. His notable film credits include George A. Romero's Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead. In 2010 and 2012, Roberts portrayed the villain Albert Wesker in Resident Evil: Afterlife and Resident Evil: Retribution respectively. In 2020, he starred in the television movie Love Under the Olive Tree.
