Shawn Wayans Biography
Shawn Mathis Wayans is an American actor, screenwriter, comedian, and producer. Born on January 19, 1971, in New York City, Wayans is the ninth of ten siblings. He made his debut on the comedy television series In Living Color from 1990 to 1993. Wayans then worked with his brother Marlon Wayans on The WB sitcom The Wayans Bros. from 1995 to 1999. He has appeared in numerous comedy films including Don't Be a Menace (1996), Scary Movie (2000), Scary Movie 2 (2001), White Chicks (2004), Little Man (2006), and Dance Flick (2009). Wayans grew up in the Fulton Houses in Manhattan and graduated from Bayard Rustin High School for the Humanities in 1989.
