Sheetal Sheth

Sheetal Sheth (born June 24, 1976) is an American actress, author, producer, and activist. She is best known for her role opposite Albert Brooks in the film Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World. Sheth made her debut in the films ABCD and American Chai, and has also appeared in I Can't Think Straight and The World Unseen. She has received multiple best actress awards at festivals and has been featured in brands like CHI haircare and Reebok. Sheth made history as the first Indian American to be featured in Maxim magazine. She is also an accomplished writer, with op-eds published on CNN, The Daily Beast, and Thrive Global. She has authored the critically acclaimed children's book Always Anjali, the first in a series featuring a South Asian hero. Sheth was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to first-generation Gujarati Indian American parents.
