Sheila Larken

Sheila Larken (born February 24, 1944) is an American television actress best known for her role as Margaret Scully, the mother of Dana Scully, on The X-Files. Born in Brooklyn, New York City, Larken has had an extensive career appearing in numerous notable television series such as Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Cagney & Lacey, Dallas, and L.A. Law. She has also appeared in made-for-television movies including Attack on Terror: The FBI vs. the Ku Klux Klan (1975) and The Midnight Hour (1985). Larken currently resides in Bellingham, Washington with her husband, television producer R.W. Goodwin.
