Sheila Ruskin Biography
Sheila Ruskin (born 28 March 1946) is an English actress known for her work in film and television. She has appeared in numerous TV shows, including I, Claudius (1976), where she portrayed Vipsania, Doctor Who (1981) as Kassia in the serial The Keeper of Traken, and Blake's 7 (1979) as Alta One in the episode 'Redemption'. Ruskin's other television credits include MacKenzie, Special Branch, The Pallisers, The Sweeney, Tales of the Unexpected, The Professionals, Minder, Bergerac, Boon, Taggart, Miss Marple, Casualty, Rumpole of the Bailey, The Bill, Dalziel and Pascoe, Holby City, Midsomer Murders, and The Lost Boys. In addition to her TV work, Ruskin has appeared in several films, such as The Swiss Conspiracy (1975), Who is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? (1978), and The Great Riviera Bank Robbery (1979). Ruskin was previously married to actor David Wood from 1966 to 1970.
