Shelby Rabara

Shelby Rabara is an American actress and dancer who has appeared in numerous films, television series, and commercials. She is best known for her role as the voice of Peridot in the Steven Universe franchise on Cartoon Network. Born on October 5, 1983, in Orange County, California, Rabara was raised by her mother in a single-parent household alongside her two siblings. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 with a degree in world arts and cultures. Prior to her acting career, Rabara was a member of the Laker Girls, the cheerleading squad for the Los Angeles Lakers. She made her acting debut in 2005 in the sitcom Grounded for Life.
