Shelley Thompson

Shelley Alice Thompson is a Canadian actress born on March 9, 1959, in Calgary, Alberta. She received her training at RADA in London and went on to work in the UK, where she played roles in London's West End and at the Royal National Theatre. Thompson was a regular in BBC radio drama and recorded numerous audio books, including works by Margaret Atwood and Jane Smiley. She appeared in various TV shows such as Mike and Angelo, Drop the Dead Donkey, EastEnders, and Chelworth. Thompson is best known for her portrayal of Barbara Lahey in the hit mockumentary series Trailer Park Boys. She has appeared in all seasons of the show, as well as both specials and the feature film.
