Shin Dong-mi

Shin Dong-mi is a South Korean actress, born on November 29, 1977. She began her acting career as a theater actor in 1998 and later transitioned to musical theater in 1999. In 2001, she made her debut as a TV actress and in 2006, she had her first film role in Don't Look Back. Shin gained recognition for her leading role in Lee Kwang-kuk's acclaimed film Romance Joe in 2002. She continued to impress with her performance in Lee's A Matter of Interpretation in 2015. Some of her recent TV dramas include Avengers Social Club (2017), Liver or Die (2019), Doctor John (2019), Hi Bye, Mama! (2020), and Record of Youth (2020). Shin studied theater at Dankook University and is married to musical actor and singer Hur Gyu.
