Shishir Kurup Biography
Shishir Ravindran Kurup (born November 2, 1961) is an American actor of Indian descent. He is known for his role as Dr. Singh on the sci-fi series Surface, as well as for his appearances on the series Heroes, Lost, and True Blood. Kurup made a guest appearance as Dr. Singh in Good Luck Charlie and played Mo Banjaree's father in the Disney Channel Original Movie Lemonade Mouth, where he reunited with his co-star Bridgit Mendler. In addition to his acting career, Kurup is also a playwright and theatrical director. He is a member of the Cornerstone Theater Company in Los Angeles.
