Shuli Rand
Shuli Rand is an Israeli film actor, writer, and singer, best known for his role as the protagonist in the film Ushpizin (2004), for which he also wrote the screenplay. Born on February 8, 1962, in Bnei Brak, Rand comes from a Religious Zionist family. He attended the Or Etzion yeshiva until the age of 18 and then pursued a career in acting after completing his compulsory army service. In 1996, Rand returned to observant Judaism and joined the Breslov Hasidic movement, becoming a student of Rabbi Shalom Arush. After a six-year hiatus, he returned to the theater, performing in one-man plays.
