Sibel Kekilli

Sibel Kekilli (born June 16, 1980) is a German actress known for her roles in film and television. She gained prominence with her performance in the 2004 film Head-On, for which she won a Lola, the prestigious German film award. Kekilli also received another Lola for her role in the film When We Leave (2010). In 2011, she became widely recognized for her portrayal of Shae in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Born and raised in Heilbronn, Germany, to Turkish parents, Kekilli excelled academically and completed a specialized training program in public administration. Before pursuing acting, she worked in various jobs, including bouncer, cleaner, waitress, nightclub manager, and administrative assistant.
