Sid Haig Biography
Sid Haig (July 14, 1939 – September 21, 2019) was an American actor known for his appearances in horror films. He gained recognition for his role as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's movies House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and 3 from Hell, which solidified his status as an icon of horror cinema. Haig also had a prominent role as the villain Dragos in the television series Jason of Star Command. Throughout his career, he appeared in various TV shows, including The Untouchables, Batman, Gunsmoke, Mission: Impossible, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Star Trek, Get Smart, The Rockford Files, Charlie's Angels, Fantasy Island, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, The Dukes of Hazzard, The A-Team, MacGyver, and Emergency!. Born in Fresno, California to Armenian parents, Haig's contributions to the entertainment industry were significant and noteworthy.
