Sidney Livingstone
Sidney Livingstone, born on 29 March 1945 in Rochdale, Lancashire, is an English stage, television, and film character actor. He has sometimes been credited as Sydney Livingstone. Before pursuing acting, Livingstone worked as an apprentice chef, a salesman, and a plumber's merchant. He gained admission to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduated in 1969. Livingstone's acting career began on stage, eventually leading him to work with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1973. He appeared in various productions directed by Trevor Nunn, including Richard II, Hamlet, Timon of Athens, and The Blue Angel. He also had notable roles in films and television shows such as The Ragman's Daughter (1972), Jeeves and Wooster, Crown Court, Shine on Harvey Moon, Minder, and Boon. In 2016, he starred as Brian Reader in the British film Hatton Garden: The Heist.
