Simon Day Biography
Simon William Day is an English comedian and actor known for his roles in the sketch show The Fast Show and the sitcom Grass. Born on June 7, 1962, in Blackheath, London, Day rose to fame as a stand-up comic, winning the Time Out new act of the year in 1991. He appeared on the BBC One show Paramount City as a weekly guest and worked with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer on two tours and two series of Big Night Out. Day has had various TV credits including Saturday Zoo, Heartbeat, Jonathan Creek, and Skins. He has also appeared in films such as Shakespeare in Love. In 2006, he collaborated with The Transit Kings on their song "The Last Light".
