Simon Shepherd Biography
Simon Shepherd (born August 20, 1956) is an English actor known for his appearances on television. He gained recognition for his roles as Dr. Will Preston in eight series of ITV's Peak Practice and as Doctor Jonathan Barling in Casualty. Shepherd was born in Bristol and attended Clifton College before studying at Manchester Metropolitan University and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has a diverse acting career, including notable stage and film roles. Shepherd played Lord Ashbrook in the 2011 production of Helen Edmundson's Coram Boy at Bristol Old Vic. He has also made appearances in the BBC comedy Gimme Gimme Gimme and in the Miss Marple adaptation 'A Murder is Announced' in 1985.
