Simon Treves Biography
Simon Treves is an English actor, director, and writer, born on 19 June 1957 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. He is best known for his role as Harold 'Stinker' Pinker in three series of ITV's Jeeves and Wooster. Treves portrayed Aleister Crowley in the 2018 short film Boca do Inferno, directed by Luis Porto. He comes from a family of actors, being the eldest son of actor Frederick Treves and the great-great nephew of Sir Frederick Treves, the surgeon who treated Joseph Merrick, the Elephant Man. Treves received his education at Rokeby School, King's College School, and Birkbeck, University of London. He trained as an actor at the National Youth Theatre and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Throughout his career, Treves has performed in leading regional British theatres and made his debut with the RSC in 1983.
