Simon Vance (born December 16, 1955) is a British audiobook narrator and actor known for his performances in contemporary literary works, classics, children's books, and nonfiction. With his specialization in single-voice narration, he has received numerous accolades, including 16 Audie Awards since 2002. In 2008, he was named the American Library Association's Booklist Magazine Voice of Choice. Vance has also been recognized by AudioFile Magazine, earning their Earphones Award for over 60 performances since 1998. He has narrated audiobooks under the pseudonyms Richard Matthews and Robert Whitfield. Vance currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
