Simone Alberghini

Simone Alberghini is an Italian operatic baritone, known for his exceptional interpretations of belcanto operas by composers such as Mozart and Rossini. Born in Bologna, Italy on April 16, 1973, Alberghini displayed a passion for music from a young age, initially exploring pop and jazz genres. He later delved into operatic singing, studying under renowned figures such as tenor Oslavio di Credico, pianist and conductor Leone Magiera, and baritone Carlo Meliciani. Alberghini made his debut in 1993 at the Teatro Regio of Turin, performing as Lorenzo in Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi. He achieved further recognition after winning first prize at the Operalia competition in 1994. Since then, Alberghini has graced prestigious stages worldwide, including La Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House in London, the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, and many others.
