Sindhu Vee

Sindhu Vee, born Sindhu Venkatanarayanan, is an Indian-born British stand-up comedian and actor known by her stage name Sindhu Vee. She has performed on stage in the UK, India, and the United States, and has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 2013 to 2017. Vee studied at the University of Delhi, the University of Oxford, the University of Chicago, and McGill University. Prior to her career in comedy, she worked in banking as a bonds tradeswoman. Vee starred as Mrs. Phelps in the 2022 Netflix adaptation of Matilda the Musical. She currently resides in London with her Danish financier husband and their three children.
