Skip O'Brien Biography
Skip O'Brien (August 20, 1950 – April 6, 2011) was an American actor known for his roles in films such as Liar Liar (1997) and The Hitcher (2007). He gained recognition for his recurring role as Detective Ray O'Riley on the television show CSI from 2000 to 2003. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, O'Brien grew up in Union Beach on the Jersey Shore. After serving in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, he graduated from Brookdale Community College in 1980. O'Brien lived in California for most of his career before relocating to Hazlet, New Jersey in 2010. He passed away at the age of 60 on April 6, 2011.
