Socorro Santiago

Socorro Santiago is an American actress known for her appearances in Law & Order and her recurring role as Isabella Santos on All My Children from 1993 to 2004. Born in New York City to a Puerto Rican mother and Mexican father, Santiago attended Juilliard before starting her career as a dancer. She made her acting debut in the 1977 Off-Broadway play Crack and went on to make her Broadway debut in the 1980 play The Bacchae. Santiago has received recognition for her work, including an ALMA Award nomination and win for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Soap Opera for All My Children. She has also been nominated for an IRNE Award for Best Actress in a Drama for Boleros for the Disenchanted. Santiago has appeared in films such as Raw Deal, A Shock to the System, Heaven's Prisoners, Night Falls on Manhattan, and The Associate.
