    Sofia Mattsson is a Swedish wrestler born on November 11th, 1989. She is known for her impressive achievements in the sport, including winning a World Championship, four European championships, and an Olympic bronze medal. Born in Gällivare, she is considered one of the highest-ranking female wrestlers in Europe. Mattsson wrestles in the 48 kilo division for the Gällivare SK Wrestling club, under the guidance of coaches Håkan Johansson and Kalle Taivalsaari. Throughout her career, she has won numerous Swedish National Championships, including six at the cadet level, two at the junior level, and three at the senior level. In 2007, she competed in her first international championship at the senior level, the European Championship in Sofia, where she won a bronze medal.
