Sope Aluko

Sope Aluko (born July 5, 1975) is a Nigerian-born British-American actress. She was raised in the United Kingdom and attended boarding school before earning her master's degree in Marketing. Aluko initially tried theater, but her parents disapproved. After working in Corporate America for fifteen years, she decided to pursue acting again following the passing of her parents. Aluko has spoken about being told to change her accent early in her career, but ultimately embraced her authentic self. She has since appeared in various movies and TV shows, showcasing her talent and versatility as an actress.
