Sophie Skelton

Sophie Alexandra Skelton (born 7 March 1994) is an English actress. She gained prominence for her role as Brianna Fraser in the Starz drama series Outlander. Skelton was born and raised in Woodford, Greater Manchester. She began her performance career in ballet at the Royal Academy, later transitioning into musical theater and stage productions. Skelton's first professional television role was in the British crime drama DCI Banks (2012), where she appeared in two episodes. She attended Stockport Grammar School and completed her A Levels in 2012. Skelton initially planned to study English Literature at King's College London but decided to pursue acting instead. In 2013, she guest-starred in CBBC's The Dumping Ground as Esme Vasquez-Jones.
