Spencer Treat Clark (born September 24, 1987) is an American actor. He gained recognition for his roles in the films Gladiator (2000) and Unbreakable (2000). Clark has also appeared in Mystic River (2003), The Last House on the Left (2009), Much Ado About Nothing (2012), and Glass (2019). On television, he is best known for his roles in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2015–2018) as Werner von Strucker and Animal Kingdom (2016–2019). Born in New York City, Clark attended Hindley Elementary School, Middlesex Middle School, and Darien High School in Connecticut before graduating from the Taft School. He later earned bachelor's degrees in political science and economics from Columbia University.
